SCoP showcases the work of one of China’s most experienced and progressive photographers.
 
‘How one photographer has spent thirty years seeking enlightenment through a dark lens’ - that’s the opening quote for the new exhibition of Zhang Haier at SCoP. On view from September 6th until October 29th, MUSE brings together familiar and previously unseen shots of Zhang Haier, telling the story of the photographer’s prolific career, that began in the mid-1980s.

Well-known and established figure in photography in China, Zhang Haier has always been celebrating the female figure in his works, that speak of real people in their natural states.  You’ll see portraits of the myriad personalities, inspiring Zhang Haier in his photographic search.
